HISTORY

Our company was founded in 1964 as a mechanical workshop that subsequently expanded into hydraulic spares for brakes, initially with a rather small range of cylinders that was later extended in light of increasing demand from strategic customers in the automotive industry, in both the aftermarket and OEM segments.

In October 1989, Nuova Tecnodelta became part of the Brescia-based OMR Group (Officine Meccaniche Rezzatesi), a global market leader that supplies OEM parts to some of the world’s largest manufacturers of automobiles and industrial, agricultural and earth-moving vehicles.

In 2003, the company ventured into the manufacture of constant-velocity joints, following the acquisition of Brescia-based INTER BRAKES, a top-ranked industry specialist. Production was shifted to the expanded facility at Tigliole (AT) where output capacity was increased.

In September 2014 Nuova Tecnodelta bought Idromec Srl, an historic company specialising in the manufacture of a wide range of water pumps with the production plant located in Brescia. The water pumps production was moved to Tigliole plant which occupies a 120,000 m2 surface area, of which 25000 m2 is covered.

The company’s product offerings now cover 95% of the automobiles and industrial vehicles currently on European and Asian roads.
Nuova Tecnodelta’s state-of-the-art facility features CNC transfers and workstations as well as CNC and multi-spindle automatic lathes, allowing for high levels of diversification and flexibility, as well as guaranteeing excellent standards of quality and reliability in the manufacture of hydraulic parts to repair clutches and braking systems, transmissions and engine cooling.
